The reason why I worked with Jill is that I needed more. I needed a coach to help me understand my opportunities for improvement, set personal goals, and sometimes just to strategize how to get through tough times. Working with Jill was such an enjoyable and supportive experience that I didn’t even realize just how big all of the changes I made in my life really were… until I opened my pantry one day and saw the chia seeds, flax seeds, and coconut oil! These items had no place in my pantry (or mouth!) before our sessions began.

Initially my idea of health and nutrition coaching was going to be all the things I was doing wrong: how I would have to cut out certain things that I enjoy doing (like eating chips) and how I’d have to count calories like it was my second job. After working with Jill, I was very pleasantly surprised that our focus was not only about helpful eating habits but also about living a healthful life. We focused on having a bedtime routine because quality sleep is such a major source of energy for me. I adopted new yummy foods into my diet to still let me eat chips and salsa while keeping it healthy and nutritious. She kept it real and practical when I was wanting to be too strict with calorie counting and gave recommendations of how to eat and still have a life.Jill does what a good coach should do–praises the good habits and provides help to curb our not-so good habits. Sometimes in life we need a bit of assistance to help us reach our goals. A push in the right direction.
